Referrals

Share CoChat with someone and you both benefit: they get 30 days of Pro with no card, and you get a reward once they’ve used CoChat for about a week.

Inviting someone

Click Refer a friend in the sidebar (or the gift icon when the sidebar is collapsed). The dialog gives you two ways to invite:

• Copy link — share it anywhere.
• Email — enter up to five addresses and click Send invites.

The dialog also shows how many rewarded referrals you have this month and a Details section with the rules.

What your colleague gets

Signing up through your link gives them a full month of Pro — every model, no card needed. Their landing page tells them who invited them.

Credit rewards expire 90 days after they arrive. Pro time stacks, up to 180 days accrued in any 12-month period.

When the reward arrives

1. Your colleague signs up.
2. They use CoChat during their first week — the reward qualifies when they’re active around day seven.
3. The reward vests 14 days after that and lands in your account.

You can follow each referral’s progress under Settings → Referrals: your link, every referral with its status (Signed up, Getting started, Qualified, Under review, Paid out, and so on), and a Rewards list showing what’s vesting and when.

Referrals beyond the cap still get their month of Pro; they just don’t earn you a reward. Occasionally a reward is held for a manual check, which shows as Under review.

Good to know

• Attribution is by last link clicked, within 30 days of clicking it.
• Inviting yourself with a variant of your own email address doesn’t count.
• Referral credit is shown separately on the Billing page with its expiry date — see Billing and credits.
