What it’s for
Section titled “What it’s for”Choosing between a handful of options against several criteria — vendors, tools, job offers, apartments, which features to build first. Options go down the side, criteria across the top, each criterion has a weight, and the grid works out totals and a ranking.
It works best with two to six options and three to six criteria.
Working with it
Section titled “Working with it”Change any score or weight and the totals and ranking update immediately. Add Option and Add Criterion extend the grid. The assistant sees your numbers on the next turn, so you can adjust the weights to match what you actually care about and then ask “does the ranking change if support matters twice as much?”
There’s no download for decision matrices; share a link instead.
Try asking
Section titled “Try asking”- “Compare these three CRMs on price, support and integrations.”
- “Help me decide between these two job offers.”
- “Score these features by value, effort and risk.”
