What it’s for
Section titled “What it’s for”The “Figure 1” every systematic review needs: how many records were identified, screened, excluded (and why) and finally included. It follows the PRISMA 2020 layout, with the database/register arm, the other-methods arm, and variants for a new review or an update of an existing one.
Working with it
Section titled “Working with it”Fill in the counts in the form — records screened, reports excluded with reasons, and so on — and the diagram redraws. If the numbers don’t add up between stages, the panel warns you so you can fix them before the figure goes into a manuscript. The assistant can fill the counts from your Library screening if you ask.
Download offers SVG and PNG for submission, a print view, and JSON of the counts.
It’s usually made alongside the PRISMA checklist.
Try asking
Section titled “Try asking”- “Make me a PRISMA flow diagram for my review.”
- “Figure 1 for my systematic review: 412 records screened, 38 full-text, 12 included.”
- “Document the screening funnel from that database search.”
